An extraordinarily complex herbal liqueur, Green Chartreuse opens with a vivid rush of fresh alpine herbs, spearmint, and green chartreuse's signature medicinal botanicals — the product of 130 distinct plants, flowers, and spices known only to two Carthusian monks. On the palate it is intensely herbal and sweetly spiced, with waves of tarragon, lemon balm, hyssop, and a warming undercurrent of cinnamon and clove. The finish is long, warming, and gloriously complex, with a lingering herbal sweetness that evolves for minutes after each sip.
