Fermoy Chardonnay from Margaret River presents a beautifully composed expression of cool-climate Chardonnay with a restrained, elegant character. On the nose, fresh white peach and nectarine mingle with zesty grapefruit and a delicate hint of toasted brioche, underpinned by a subtle creamy lees influence. The palate is vibrant and well-structured, with bright acidity framing flavours of stone fruit, citrus curd, and a whisper of roasted cashew from judicious oak treatment. The wine shows excellent integration between fruit and oak, with a fine, chalky minerality threading through the mid-palate that speaks to the gravelly loam soils of the Margaret River region. The finish is long and refined, with lingering citrus zest and a touch of vanilla cream.
